The large cast is quite diverse in terms of both sexuality and ethnicity. It includes both straight and gay men and women who are White, Black, Asian, and Latino.

NSA special operative teams often deal with criminal activity, guns, bomb threats, and more. Graphic and gory scenes of people being beaten, stabbed, shot and more occur often.

Sexual content includes scantily clad people shown as sexual objects, strippers, groping, kissing, and sex scenes involving completely naked men and women without sensitive body parts being shown other than naked buttocks. There are oral sex scenes, as well as visual and verbal references to bondage and group sex. Nudity includes buttocks, bare breasts, and full-frontal male nudity (which is shown in a nonsexual situation).

Regular crude language and repeated swearing, including "douchebag," "jerk off" "t-ts", "s--t," "bitch," and "f--k."

There are many scenes of people partying, drinking, and doing drugs. Protagonists glorify binge drinking and drug use. Smoking and use of marijuana, ecstasy, and mushrooms are shown, along with characters snorting Adderall and Ketamine. These behaviors are treated as normal and funny, and are central to the plot of the show.
