The BOMB!
This movie is the bomb! I saw it in the theater a couple of weeks ago and I was fascinated and amazed by how well developed and executed the movie was! It is for both history buffs and people who love action. It is all about J. Robert Oppenheimer and how he was the leading factor in the development of the atomic bomb. It also features the supporting role of Albert Einstein, whose formula A = MC2 helped Oppenheimer and the other scientists successfully construct and test the atomic bomb. Christopher Nolan successfully covers Oppenheimer’s origins, the development of the a-bomb through mathematics and science, testing the bomb, and the controversies against Oppenheimer to follow. Though the action and the history, which was carefully researched and screenwritten by Nolan, are portrayed very well, there are a couple of sex scenes that can get graphic. The film would have been just as good without the sex. Also be aware that there are eight uses of “f--k”, a few uses of “s--t”, etc. Oppenheimer frequently smokes as well. But don’t let the sex get in the way of the rest of the film. There is more action and history in the film than sex. I think it’s okay for kids age 16 and up to watch it. The three hours is well worth your time!

Better than I thought it would be.
Very entertaining series. It takes place in the future with people who live in a tall silo and are unsure of whether the abandoned world outside the silo is safe. In fact, they believe it’s dangerous and everyone should stay inside the silo at all times. Great messages include bravery, when some characters want to go outside the silo to see if the outside world is safe and, in that case, be banned from the silo. It also shows hardships going on inside the silo. Another moment of bravery is when the main turbine breaks down and a character helps out by spraying water with a hose into the hot part of the generator to keep it from overheating, which would lead to explosion and death of everyone in the silo, despite the fact that she has a fear of water. The series is very futuristic and very well put together. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a series that just came out and loves futuristic material. However, there is violence, like death after leaving the silo and fights inside the silo, both verbal and physical. Sex includes a couple wanting to have a baby and sex talk between the two, but not much besides that. But the main thing to watch out for is the language, which is very constant and it particularly includes “f--k” and “s--t”. Although it is a well-made series, it is for older teens and adults only because of the heavy themes, violence, and constant language.

Another great installment to one of the most well-known franchises!
This movie was awesome in one of the only film franchises where stunts can be performed with cars that cannot happen in real life. The stunts and story are both entertaining and it is hard to believe that Vin Diesel is still playing Dominic Toretto even after 22 years! Although the movie as a whole is cool, there is plenty of violence, with many explosions of cars in almost every scene, as well as a bomb in one scene, and much more. There is also a scene where two people share a beer, but other than that, there is no more drinking, and there are no drugs, but there is smoking in various scenes. Swearing mainly includes emphasis on “s--t”, especially by a small boy. Despite all the violence, Dom serves as a positive role model, and a positive message includes promises, and Dom makes his son a promise and says that he will keep it. One thing that extremely disturbing, though, is the antagonist of the story. There is a scene where he is talking to dead people, who obviously cannot communicate back, which is a sign that he is a psychopath, and this makes this installment a little more disturbing to some viewers. Despite all the violence, the CGI is incredibly displayed, and it is definitely worth a watch.

Skip this! It is trash!
This movie is one of THE WORST documentaries I have ever seen! I watched the first 20 minutes of it and then pushed the “off” button. It was that bad! It was slow-moving, and all about David Bowie being sexy by being dressed in very sexual ways. The film also had very weird face designs throughout. It was not like your typical documentary with people being interviewed. It just seemed like David Bowie and his live performances with people being too dramatic over seeing him up close. As well as that, the beginning was very slow-moving. People keep saying that this is such a great movie, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who actually likes to watch a great film. It really it is worth the skip.

Satisfactory story, but good entertainment.
I liked this movie for the most part. I just saw it tonight in theaters and thought it was entertaining, but must be viewed by older teens and adults only. The violence includes MANY jump-scares, bloody attacks caused by the bear, and much suspense leading up to the jump-scares. It was much scarier in theaters than it would be streaming or on DVD. Although it was very entertaining at the beginning, it got boring and slow near the climax. It seemed like all the bear wanted was cocaine, and wherever it didn’t sniff the cocaine, it would look elsewhere and then unleash its attack wherever the cocaine could be found. Be prepared for a scene where two minors try out cocaine when they find it (although the scene isn’t very graphic). This movie is extremely disturbing with the jump-scares, suspense, and the loads and loads of cocaine displayed throughout the film. The language is also constant, mostly consisting of uses of “f--k” and “s--t”. It is entertaining, but not with a lot of good messages or role models.

Not for kids and not for adults who don’t want their childhood tainted!
Absolutely NOT for kids! Why would someone make something like this with characters that are obviously meant for kids to enjoy? I used to watch the 1977 movie “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” as a kid and enjoyed it, as well as “Winnie the Pooh” from 2011. I understand that these characters are now almost a century old and are now in the public domain, but why make a movie like this about them? If you’re wise, DO NOT watch this movie if you don’t want your childhood to be ruined! This time around, the characters look very weird in a very twisted way and this isn’t just a movie for kids for its violence and other mature content, but if they will not view the earlier versions mentioned above in a good way. I do not recommend this movie to anyone. Avoiding this movie will keep your childhood with these characters intact!

Very well-executed film, but not for the youngest.
This film is not for young kids, but it is okay for young teens and up. It is a very interesting and thought-provoking film, and it makes you think twice about whether it is a good thing to have artificial intelligence that is independent of any and all human services, for two reasons: what this kind of convenience can do to the human mind and what the machine is capable of. I really admire that this horror film is actually smart and could also be placed in the science fiction genre. Not only is M3GAN technological and the programming required to make such a contraption goes beyond the technology we have today, but it deals with how children and their addiction to new and modern technology. After her parents’ deaths, Katie saw M3GAN as her comfort item and soon after having M3GAN, she can’t live without her. The film also shows the business side of this new toy, and how it could make so much money if the sales pitch goes well, along with having commercials of the current and popular toys in the market today. It is also clever that M3GAN was played by two actors: one who did the blocking and the other who provided the voice. When hitting the credits, the audience is given a lot to think about, some things mentioned above and so much more. This film was not disappointing. It was suspenseful and very well-executed.

Entertainment and some education for very young kids.
There is not really a certain thing that this series is about. It’s just a compilation of shorts appropriate for very young children. Season 1 is animated while Season 2 is not, and I would consider the series mediocre. However, I do like that each episode is less than 10 minutes long. I would recommend it to preschoolers and and under. The first season is just entertainment, but there is more educational value in the second season. There is no edgy or explicit content to worry about; just kid-friendly entertainment.

Weird and full of LGBTQ stuff; not for kids.
It was pretty cool to see Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in another movie together. However, this is was a very disappointing Marvel movie. The film had the typical Marvel comic action violence, which was the one thing that made it even close to seeming like Marvel. That said, the most significant drawback was the sex. The film had more sex than any other Marvel movie I have ever seen. It contained lots of unnecessary stuff in the LGBTQ genre, and it was like Thor depended on love more than his powers, which made him look very weak compared to the previous “Thor” and “Avengers” movies. Thor wasn’t even able to accomplish the last mission on his own…not even with his thunderbolt (which is pretty strange, since he is the god of thunder). He needs love. There is also more language in this movie than other ones by there simply being numerous uses of “s--t”. This movie also features mythological gods, like Zeus, and although it never happens, there are several references to having an orgy. This is NOT something you would see in a good Marvel film, as well as Thor’s bare behind being shown in one of the scenes. Because of all of this, there are no positive messages or positive role models. Why does Common Sense Media think that this movie is okay for viewers 12 and older? 12-year-olds should not be watching this. The mature themes in it are for older audiences. For those who are big Marvel fans and don’t want to waste their time on a bad Marvel flick, skip this one. This is an LGBTQ movie for sure.
