These brief but detailed biographies bring to light many unknown achievements throughout women's history. Each episode of the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls podcast is narrated by an accomplished storyteller and/or actor (examples include Tarana Burke, Priscilla Chan, Anita Hill, Pamela Adlon) in often magically unfolding ways, with a real fairytale vibe. They're written in a compelling way, with a well-produced score, which can hold both children and adult listeners' attention.

Women from a very wide range of fields, eras, and places are represented, and their accomplishments, despite often-great hurdles, are clearly illustrated. The dreamy style makes these an especially good bedtime (or nighttime road trip) choice.
