Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

This is an excellent show that brings the "monsterverse" down to a human level. Unlike the feature films, the human characters are interesting and have depth. That being said, the show does mostly focus on them, meaning it is a slower-paced show than some other in-verse media. Kids might be a bit bored if they don't appreciate the human drama. In terms of violence, it is pretty tame. In episode one, however, a school bus filled with children falls off a bridge during Godzilla's attack, resulting in their deaths. It is slightly disturbing. Other than that, there are monsters that chase and try to eat characters. Decomposing bodies can be seen at one point, but it is easy to look away if you want. Overall, this is a very high-quality show that truly highlights the human characters in this monstrous saga.
